5 Foods That Help to Quit Smoking

Adjust the diet is very important in case of failure of tobacco, says nutritionist gastroenterologist Svetlana Gentle.

There are several reasons: to support vessels, not to put on weight, cure, finally, "gastritis smoker" (digestive problems, I'm sure our expert starts virtually all smokers with experience more than a year). So, what to eat, when you quit smoking:

1. Foods rich askorbinka (nicotine practically negates the absorption of vitamin C, and the body is in dire need of it.) It's great to cook a mix of finely chopped lemon with a good liquid honey. Drinking on an empty stomach on a tablespoon a day or added to tea (but not too hot - with temperatures above 60 degrees honey useful enzymes are destroyed).

2. Fiber helps cleanse the liver faster and intestines from the decay products of nicotine. Most of it in oatmeal, prunes, celery, squash and cucumbers.

3. Oxalic acid reduces the craving for nicotine. So there is a sense in the first few days until the hand itself and reaching for a cigarette, have a salad with spinach, Shavel, chew sunflower seeds instead of cookies and young apples (they have a lot of iron, and to help cope with the weakness and anemia, is also a frequent problem smokers). And to increase metabolism and stout (which is why many women are afraid to quit smoking) can start every day with a morning cup of boiled water with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.

4. Fermented milk products (yoghurt, yoghurt, curd cheese) without the help of drugs to cope with dysbiosis, which, alas, is also a constant companion of the smoker.

5. Is not the first time sharp and burning foods. They irritate certain taste buds, which "reminds" the body of cigarettes.
