Britain spent about $ 4 million on the destruction of chemical weapons in Syria

Kingdom has allocated 2.4 million pounds (3.8 million U.S. dollars) to work on the destruction of Syrian chemical weapons, the head of the British Foreign Secretary William Hague.







"Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has confirmed that the (preparatory) work on the Syrian chemical weapons is complete. But some of the charges and the chemicals are still (in storage areas), they must be destroyed. Britain has allocated £ 2.4 million to support this process and continue to support the destruction of these weapons, "- said Hague, speaking in Parliament on Monday.

According to him, the UK contributed to help Syrian refugees 500 million pounds (about 800 million U.S. dollars), while the total amount of assistance from the international community was 3 trillion.
